Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 - 9/10

If I rated the single player and multiplayer portions separately, it'd look like this: Single Player - 7/10, Multiplayer - 9/10, Spec Ops, haven't done much of it, but it's pretty fun.

All in all, a great game with a multiplayer that's fun for a couple of days. Huge improvement to COD4, depending on how you look at it.



Uncharted 2 - 10/10

I was late to the party I guess. I just recently got this. I'll go with a 10/10 on this one. Uncharted 1 is still one of my favorite PS3 games. Some people say it was a mix between Tomb Raider and Gears of War, but imo it took different elements from different games and built on it. You can't compare it to any single game.

Now, Uncharted 2, takes the first game and enhances it by 500%. I haven't played a game of this quality and fun in a long, long time. I couldn't put it down, I always wanted to know what was going to happen next. The stealth element is also well done.

The graphics are excellent. Some people could argue that graphics don't make a game, but luckily this game has the gameplay to support it. The graphics greatly enhanced my immersion, the world and places felt real, and the characters as well. The graphics are bar none the best I've seen on consoles. The environment was very believable, and has probably the best water I've seen in a console game. I was just really really impressed with this aspect.

Next, the characters. They feel like real actual people, the voice acting is incredible, and the dialogue made me laugh plenty of times. I also love the hidden treasures bit.

I just love this game I haven't touched the multiplayer yet, but I can honestly say this is one of those rare games that is completely worth the money. Very rarely does a game like this come across - this is a game I can say was put 100% effort into. Naughty Dog has done it again.

The single player is so good and well done, it merits second and multiple playthroughs.

Slight story spoilers

The boss had me on my toes, he was very fun to beat. Huge improvement over the first Uncharted's boss, who wasn't that satisfying to beat.

tl;dr- If you have the money, or a way to play this game, do it, you won't regret it. I'd go as far to say it's one of the best action games ever made, and is up there for my personal favorite games of all time.

I have no doubts this will score GOTY across most websites.
