Went to the reddit meetup for my town, saw a bunch of friends and 20 other people. It was pretty awesome, honestly wasn't even expecting that much of a turnout. Grilled, drank beers, and played kickball, it was awesome. I did this:



and then we spent the entire rest of the day creating D&D characters and then playing because my friend volunteered to DM for us (he'd played a lot before and it was all of our first times, we would have painfully struggled through and probably failed pretty hard without his help). It was awesome. We just finished playing at about half past midnight, it was awesome, I'm a half-Orc barbarian who worships the god of slaughter and I can officially say I've played my first D&D game. It was fun as hell.

    I made it father than everyone else on that crazy rope thing, but mostly just because I weighed less.
