I'm in a hospital bed and scared because I couldn't move, I asked the doctor "What's going on?" He said "You don't remember? It all happened at school." He told me "Your friend had a problem with some people at school and was almost shot - you jumped in front of them and took the bullet yourself, you're Lucky you didn't, die. You're going to be ok, though, so don't worry." Now I think to myself " I'm happy I took that bullet for you, because it would've hurt even more to see you lying in this hospital bed." post this on 5 friends's wall that you would take a bullet for ♥(:

Most of the arguments I can think of derive from pedantic attempts to classify it as slam poetry, more a freeform spoken word nook of literature than music, and that the music is only the beats that coincide with it eg. Madlib and J Dilla are musicians but Jay-Z (as a pure rapper) is not
